We moved into our new half a million pound clubhouse on 28 May 2005 and had our grand opening ceremony on Saturday 18 June. The funding for the project has been provided from the following sources: - Sport England from their lottery revenue; the South West Regional Development Agency (Single Regeneration Budget); Government Office South West (Neighbourhood Renewal Fund); Penwith District Council; The County Environmental Trust; Hayle Town Council; Hayle Forum and our own fund raising efforts. At our AGM in November 2007 we agreed that our annual membership fees for 2008 would again remain the same as in 2006 and 2007. Please see “Club Info” page for details of membership fees. There were a few changes to the committee and officers within the club – please see “Club Info” page for a full list. We have had yet another successful year in 2007 and have again increased our membership. Plenty of qualifications were gained across all age groups some of whom are mentioned by name in our “news” website – see link above. Twelve of our Masters surprised themselves again by retaining the title Cornish Regional Masters Champions at the competition at Perranporth in August. Our Nippers did very well in their competitions with more of them taking part than ever before and achieving there highest placing in a Nipper National Stillwater Championships by finishing in 3rd place at Swansea. They also had their highest placing in the Nipper Cornish Champs at Maenporth, finishing in 2nd place overall.
